Three Ways to Wear: The Topshop Pink Suit - Part 2

Suit - Topshop
Tshirt - H&M
Trainers - Nike (similar)
Bag - Zara
Necklace - Accessorize

Here is look number two of my three ways to wear this Topshop suit. This is pretty much the complete opposite of look 1 and I've never paired trainers with smart trousers despite seeing many bloggers doing it but this pair were such a good colour match that I decided to take the plunge. I wore this out for dinner for my pals birthday and I think it's quite a good example of how to dress down the suit while still looking smart.

The new ASOS Salon collection dropped earlier this week and I think it's the best yet. So many bright colours and gorgeous floral prints - I don't even have any occasions coming up but most of these dresses found their way into my saved items! I did cave and buy this dress and it is amazing. Such a perfect fit, with excellent quality finishing and fabric, I'll just need to find an occasion to wear it! I've also got my eye on this stunner but one will need to do for now!
Check out the whole collection here and if you need more convincing you can get 20% off ASOS until tomorrow with the code 'ASOSLOVESLOOK'.

Three Ways to Wear: The Topshop Pink Suit - Part 1

Suit - Topshop
Dress (worn as top) - Topshop
Coat - ASOS
Heels - Topshop

As you all know, I love a good old matching two piece - in any shape or form - so when I saw this Topshop suit it was love. However, with Topshop prices, buying the whole suit gets pretty pricey so to make myself feel better about spending the money I decided to do a three part series on this babe of a suit showing three different looks you can create with it. I know what you're thinking - how versatile can a pink suit actually be?! - but I actually surprised myself and have found it very versatile!

So here is look numero uno. I went for a fancy look for a posh meal out and decided to max out on tones of pink. This dress from Topshop Boutique is stunning and again trying to get my money's worth by wearing it as a top and a dress! To finish off I dusted off my favourite ASOS coat from the winter which was unfortunately necessary as there is a frightfully cold wind billowing through Glasgow at the moment.

Keep your eyes peeled for the other two looks over the next few days pals!

Trench - Topshop
Shirt - Topshop
Jeans - ASOS
Shoes - ASOS
Bag - Topshop

Just a casual, no fuss outfit today. The ripped knees on the jeans add a little extra detail to the simple white shirt and this trench finishes it off perfectly. It's the perfect spring coat that you can throw on over any outfit - I'd definitely recommend it.
On another note, I added loads to my ebay last night, you can check it out here.

Dress - c/o Fabric Boutique
Blazer - Zara
Belt - ASOS
Shoes - Office
Bag - ASOS
Rings - ASOS / Topshop
Necklace - ASOS
Sunglasses - Vintage

I've decided that if we all just start dressing like it's summer then maybe temperatures will rise and theres nothing like some yellow to bring on the sun. I liked mixing the lime in the bag and shoes with the pastel yellow in the dress, keeping everything else fairly simple in cream. The cut out detail on the back of this dress is amazing - slightly too draughty at this early stage of the season, but I'm sure will be a welcome detail if the sun ever comes out. Now all I need is a tan!!

Hello Bandwagon

Culottes - Topshop
Tshirt - H&M
Coat - ASOS
Shoes - Zara
Bag - River Island
Necklaces - ASOS (1,2,3)
Rings - ASOS

Well I thought it was about time I hopped onto the culottes bandwagon. I did originally approach this trend with a degree of trepidation but lo and behold, here I am, loving life. They are a good alternative when you want to be dressed up but not too formal and I think these Zara heels with the culottes creates the perfect combination. They are such a bargain at £39.99 and I love them so much I bought them in nude too! I like to go a bit OTT on jewellery when I'm wearing an otherwise quite simple outfit and I'm really liking fine chain necklaces just now - the ASOS ones are really reasonably priced so you can get a few and layer them like I've done.

On a tastier note, I received this little tub in the mail from ASOS the other day - how cute! It's part of a promotion for ASOS' SS14 High Summer Beauty range and the attached leaflet shows some of the key pieces. It all looks amazing, and I'll definitely be checking out those new Models Own nail polishes!

Beta Apparel

Dress - c/o Beta Apparel
Jacket - River Island
Boots - Pull & Bear

Beta Apparel is a vintage boutique based on Etsy which specialises in high quality, ethical vintage fashion. They contacted me offering the opportunity to sample a couple of their pieces so the first I chose was this dress and I love it. It's in excellent condition - like new - and I love the cut with the pleated skirt. They just have one of everything so my advice if you like something - don't hesitate! In case you needed any more persuading they've even given me a discount code for 20% off everything! It's "cassiusrose" so get on over there!

We may as well dress like it sunny right?

Colour Pop

Dress - Topshop
Coat - Topshop
Boots - Zara
Belt - ASOS
Earrings - ASOS

I love this dress. I'm just going to come out and say it. The zip detail adds something a little different and the pattern has lots of colours in it allowing me to match the coat and earrings perfectly! I'm just home from a weekend in Manchester, where the weather is considerably better than Glasgow and the shopping is pretty darn great too so you'll be seeing some of my buys soon!

It'll Be All-White On The Night

Trench - Topshop
Jacket - River Island
Top - Topshop
Jeans - Topshop
Heels - Chicwish
Bag - Whistles

Two jackets - because it's still freezing in Glasgow. I adore this trench coat, it's quite light - so will be ideal when spring has finally sprung - and it goes with everything. Aside from that I've gone for lots of white, which maybe wasn't the smartest idea going for an italian meal but I survived, stain free. I'm getting way more wear out of these shoes that I thought I would. While some people find them 'repulsive', 'horrible' and 'like nurses shoes' (I've never seen a nurse stroll about a hospital in heels - just saying) I find them super comfy and easy to walk in and very versatile. So I'm going to continue wearing them and you can't stop me.

Super Bargain Haul

Recently, to try and get my shopping under control, I've been trying to seek out reasonably priced items rather than spending ridiculous amounts in Topshop. I thought I'd compile my best buys of the last few weeks in one big superhaul post!

I haven't shopped in Boohoo in years but I've noticed it popping up on loads of blogs recently so I took a browse of their website and was not disappointed. They are top of the culotte game (which up until now, I had yet to join) and they also have such a great selection of two pieces at excellent prices.

Ark is another website that I had never bought from but had to check out after all the blog posts I was seeing. They stock a lot of different brands and the prices are amazing. Also I ordered quite late on a Friday afternoon and it was here on the Saturday - with free delivery! To top it all off there was 20% off everything the day I shopped. It doesn't get much better than this. I've been eyeing up this Lavish Alice jumpsuit (top left) for ages so took the plunge with the 20% discount. I also think that blue floral top (bottom right) could look pretty great with the floral culottes from Boohoo - DIY coord anyone?

A post full of bargains would not be complete without Primark. As I do the majority of my shopping online I hadn't been into Primark in months so went a bit mental. You can always count on Primark to give you a good bag - I've been looking for a casual black everyday bag for ages and this one (top right) is perfect. It's pretty spacious but not too chunky. If anyone is able to exit Primark without having bought pyjamas I salute you - I cannot resist.
Brown backpack £3 / Monochrome backpack £8 / Black bag £6
Flamingo tee £5 / Run DMC tee £8 / Mint leather look skirt £10
Stripy flannel PJs £4 / Lighting PJ bottoms £5

Jeans - Topshop
Belt - eBay
Coat - Missguided
Bag - Topshop

I bought this belt ages ago but haven't ever worn it so I decided to dust it off and take it for a spin today. The blue shades in this Peter Pilotto jumper matches my Missguided coat perfectly so I wasn't going to deprive you all of that heavenly combo.
I'm really enjoying the sunshine but will have to master my facial expressions to avoid this grimace in outfit pics.

Pub Quizzing

Coat - Zara
Jumper - Monki @ ASOS
Jeans - Topshop
Bag - H&M
Shoes - Superga

I'm a real fan of the Monki collection, it's such reasonable prices for great clothes. This pinstripe jumper is the perfect match for my Zara sale coat so I couldn't resist pairing the two then adding a bit of colour in the form of the cute little bag from H&M. Again, still living in the mom jeans, they're just too comfortable.

Just a quick one tonight as I'm off to a pub quiz with my cousin and her new man! Exciting times indeed!
