Fringe Dress

Dress:ASOS / Coat:ASOS / Boots:ASOS / Bag:Zara (similar)

Hello and happy Tuesday everyone, nearly halfway to the weekend (getting really optimistic here!). Here is a recent weekend outfit I wore to meet a friend for some good old Sunday cocktails. I've decided to be more brave and bear legs in Autumn this year rather than begin a solid 6 months of having jeans on every day. I'm not a huge fan of wearing tights so I tend to find that in winter I'm quite limited to trousers most of the time. In Autumn, however, when the temperatures are still above 0 a nice knitted dress and boots does the trick nicely!

This trench coat is a recent addition to the wardrobe and I think it will be glued to my back for the next few months. It goes with everything and is perfect to just throw on over casual / more fancy ensembles.

I'm currently (avoiding) studying for an exam on Monday, and wondering why I ever voluntarily signed up (and paid for!) and exam after uni. It will all be worth it when I pass….hopefully.

Laidback Weekday Attire

Top:Zara (similar) / Jeans:Topshop / Sandals:ASOS / Bag:Zara (similar)

Let's all take a moment to appreciate these sandals. They are my favourite sandals I've bought in a long, long time. They are just perfect fora not-so-summery summers' day when you are desperate to wear something vaguely representative of the season but its a bit windy and a bit drizzly. So good I bought them twice…khaki and black.

This was a casual look for a day of errands and had the right mix of being comfortable but not looking like a slob. I really like the slightly different cut of top rather than a normal shirt for a change.

Prague #3 - Midi Skirt

Top:ASOS / Skirt:ASOS (similar)/ Shoes:ASOS / Clutch:Whistles

My third and final Prague post - it's been relatively quick and painless, I just need another holiday now. For our last night in Prague I decided to bring out this scuba full midi skirt for the first time and dress it up with the best shoes ever. It was the quickest 'Add to Bag' ever when they appeared on the ASOS website and I haven't looked back. They're also perfect for when you're heading out but can't quite face heels.
Paired with the old trusty lace up blouse, that I still want in blue but haven't quite got round to that one yet. The time will come, don't worry.

Prague #2 - Photo Diary

Last month, my cousin and our mums went on a girls' trip to Prague to celebrate my cousin's 30th birthday. You can see a little outfit post here. I had never been to Prague before and absolutely loved it - it is such a beautiful city and oh, so cheap! Those cocktails you'll see below were in our hotel bar and averaged approximately £3.50 each. OHEMGEE.

I've decided to go all out with one big photo diary. We pretty much just explored, chilled and ate and drank the whole time so there isn't an extensive travel guide as such but I will pop in some recommendations as I go along.

It was super hard to narrow these photos down as every building is so 'instragram-able' but here we go!

We stayed in the Raddison Blu Alcron hotel - the location was perfect, the marble staircases were amazing and the cocktails in the Be Bop Bar were the best ever. Yes, there is a Nemo on one drink, and yes, a toothbrush in another.

A boat trip is the perfect way to see the sights of the city while relaxing with an alcoholic beverage of course. I'm wearing ASOS shirtold Topshop shorts (similar here) and some gorge ASOS sandals - a must for a city break!

On our first night, the concierge at the hotel recommended the Buddha Bar and it was AMAZING. Not your typical Czech food as such but delicious none the less. We decided to go for the tasting menu to sample a few different dishes and it was the best asian food I've ever had.

Below, is the Czech delicacy that is TRDLO - doesn't look pronounceable and I had no idea how to say it but it tasted hella good.

Our second night took us to Pasta Fresca - where, as the name suggests, all the pasta is prepared freshly on the premises. Again, not very czech, but again, amazingly delicious - maybe it was the prosecco that made everything taste so good but either way, I'll go with it! Sorry, no photos of the food for this one, it didn't last very long on the table and my Mum kept giving me into trouble for photographing food.

We finished off our trip with a trip to the famous Hemingway bar which supposedly serves the best cocktails in Prague (whoever said that hadn't been to the Be Bop Bar thank you very much). I had the passion fruit bellini which came with a delightful portion of passion fruit sorbet dissolving in the champagne - the dream.

Overall, a fab time was had by all and I would definitely recommend a trip to Prague. We enjoyed it as a relatively relaxed city break (despite my mum insisting on achieving 20,000 steps on her pedometer each day) as there isn't a huge list of things you MUST do so you can just wander round leisurely and make it as busy or as chilled as you wish!

Also wearing: Vero Moda lace dress, ASOS denim dress and M+S denim dress (similar here)

Prague #1 - Monki Dress

Dress:Monki (sold out, similar here) / Bag:Zara (similar) / Shoes:ASOS / Earrings:H&M (similar)

A few weeks ago I took a little city break to Prague. It feels like a very distant memory now but I thought I'd give the travel posts a bit of a rest after the ongoing Barcelona saga so now it my first Prague post. I'll do a little photo diary post as well but first is a little outfit post from our first night.

I had a pre holiday stress ASOS shop and Monki came to the rescue in the form of this beautiful kimono dress. All I needed was a banging pair of earrings and some comfy heels and I was good to go.

Keep an eye out for a couple more Prague posts coming soon.
